Cabo Nightlife
While San Jose del Cabo is sleepy and rustic, at the other end of the Corridor you will find Cabo San Lucas, home to an active night life. The two towns are as different as salt and pepper.
Downtown Cabo San Lucas is the a place of food, drink, fun and glitz, with its cantinas, night clubs, dancing.
Cabo nightlife has three focal points, all near each other: the marina, the beach, and the downtown streets.
The large and modern marina is surrounded by a spacious walkway, lined with restaurants and bars and shops. The downtown night scene blends seamlessly from the marina into he nearby downtown streets. There are simply too many restaurants, bars, and nightclubs within walking distance of each other to count.
“Cabo Wabo,” (owned by Van Halen guitarist Sammy Hagar) and other night spots, like “The Giggling Marlin” and “El Squid Roe” are all within short walking distance of each other and the marina. Restaurant favorites like Ponchos, Ruth Chris, and Alexander are mixed in there as well.
A long walk or short taxi ride away are the collection of bars and restaurants located on and near the Medano beach.
You have not “done” Cabo until you have had breakfast or dinner on the beach and at the marina. Such places as “the Office” MangoDeck, or Soloman’s Landing are must vists..
